Spray Booth Operator

Bass Cabinet Manufacturing, Inc. and Cabinets and Related Products, Inc. (CARP) are experiencing steady growth and we are looking for a Spray Booth Operator to join our team. We are headquartered in Mesa, Arizona and also have long-established operations in Nevada, Southern California, and Colorado.

The Spray Booth Operator sets up, operates and maintains equipment to coat or paint any variety of products.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sets-up spray equipment
  • Obtains complete coverage free from blemishes
  • Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Applies glue on assemblies per manufacturing needs
  • Inspects and cleans spray equipment to maintain functionality
  • Ensures a safe working environment by conforming to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Glues to match manufacturer specifications
  • Sprays surfaces with specified amounts of glue
  • Monitors spray operations to identify flaws and correcting
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge in sanding, and sheet wood preparation
  • Knowledge of hand applied finishes, stains, dyes, oils, etc. is a plus
  • Experience in finishing, cabinet assembly, sanding, running edgebanders, beam saws, and CNCs, as well as smaller general woodworking tools, is a plus
  • Ability to operate automated painting systems
  • Attention to detail and quality of work produced
  • Ability to work in an organized manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard and within the necessary time frame
  • Experience working in a production environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure and stay organized
  • Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test
