HR Payroll Coordinator

Mesa, AZ

This individual will assist in all aspects of on-boarding new hires, administering employee benefits, maintaining personnel records and HRIS data. In addition, this individual will assist in processing payroll for 300+ employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Respond to employee questions and inquires. Escalate questions when needed. This could include HRIS, payroll, benefits, employee relations, reporting questions, etc.
  • HRIS administration, including inputting changes, uploading documents, approving benefit requests, processing hires and terminations
  • Assist with new hire orientation. Welcome new hires, manage new hire paperwork, verify Form I-9s and submit through E-verify
  • Maintain records of personal transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and other personnel documentation in HRIS and employee files
  • Maintain all physical and electronic filing systems
  • Respond to unemployment claims and verifications for employment
  • Respond to payroll information requests and questions
  • Prepare spreadsheets and documents for projects as needed
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of special projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
