Delivery Driver

Bass Cabinet Manufacturing, Inc. and Cabinets and Related Products, Inc. (CARP) are experiencing steady growth and we are looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team. We are headquartered in Mesa, Arizona and also have long-established operations in Nevada, Southern California, and Colorado.

Delivery driver distributes products promptly to customer job sites. He/she represent the company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day
  • Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery
  • Delivers parcels to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary
  • Picks up parcels along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested
  • Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made
  • Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor
  • Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license as well as a clean driving record
  • Must be able to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps
  • Must be able to plan delivery routes
  • Must be able to maintain basic logs and records
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-minded
  • Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather
